One of the standout features is the inventory management system, which allows users to keep track of their pantry, refrigerator, and freezer contents. A barcode scanner enhances this experience by speeding up the inventory process. Additionally, generating a grocery list from the user's inventory—whether items are in stock or out of stock—has been simplified, enabling better budgeting through local merchant rebates.

Cuisine boasts an extensive library of free recipes, ensuring users can easily save and access their favorites without the hassle of traditional search methods. Recipes can be added manually or via a simple photo scan, streamlining the recipe-saving process.

Furthermore, the app facilitates direct searches across popular recipe websites, allowing users to save their findings within Cuisine. This eliminates the need to clutter browser favorites with numerous recipe links.

Another significant advantage is the app's functionality regarding food safety; Cuisine notifies users about potential allergens or intolerances related to ingredients present in their inventory or offered by local merchants.

For users on iOS 14, widgets provide quick access to grocery lists or a randomly selected recipe from the main screen of their device.

While many features are freely accessible, some require a subscription after an initial trial period. Monthly subscriptions are priced at $0.99 CDN, while an annual subscription costs $9.99 CDN ($0.83 CDN per month).

Auto-renewable subscriptions adhere to specific guidelines regarding payment confirmation, renewal procedures, and user management options:

 <li>Subscriptions automatically renew unless turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends.</li>
